To facilitate BULK receiving and shipping of ebike batteries, We have partnered with

This process will dramatically reduce shipping cost both way.  Bulk shipments are for quantities of 10 batteries or higher ONLY.  After we receive the batteries, we will provide an estimate of repairs for the total lot for your review and approval.

If you are interested in sending us your excess defective batteries, please notify us at support@fthpower.com and follow these instructions for shipment.

For bulk shipments of more than 10 batteries, we partner with InXpress to arrange trucking. Please contact them directly at FTHPower@inxpress.com to arrange for booking, payment, and to schedule a pickup. The batteries must be packed onto a pallet and shrink wrapped to be secure for transit. To get an accurate rate quote, you will need to accurately measure the length, width, and height of the loaded pallet, including packaging and protrusions. Round up to the next highest whole number. Same for the weight, you will need the total gross weight of the entire handling unit including the pallet itself and all the goods packed onto it.

Some other considerations:

  • Do you have a loading dock and forklift? Or will you need the truck that makes the pickup to have a liftgate and pallet jack?
  • Is there plenty of room for a 53 ft trailer to fit into your pickup location? Or would it be better to send a smaller truck?
  • Will the driver be required to stop at a gate or enter a code to enter your pickup location?
  • For insurance, please include the commercial value of the goods you are shipping.
  • LTL transit times are estimates only. Please advise if you need expedited or guaranteed service.

Due to the regulations on shipping hazardous materials, there are some specific requirements that must be met to make your pallet shipment a success. See below a couple of things to consider when packaging your batteries for transportation.  For complete instructions, see the PHMSA Lithium Battery Guide for Shippers

  • You will need to label your shipment with a HazMat sticker for UN3480 Lithium Ion Batteries.
  • The carrier will need to know the exact number of batteries on each pallet.
  • Keep in mind that shippers must assess the potential fire hazards that can occur with transporting batteries. Steps must be taken to ensure that the batteries do not create sparks or generate a dangerous quantity of heat.
  • Pack each battery in a fully enclosed inner packaging made of non-static bubble wrap or any non-conductive material.
  • Separate each battery from one another.
  • Package in a manner to prevent any shifting of the battery in the package while in transport.
  • Use strong outer packaging such as fiberboard, metal , plastic boxes or gaylord boxes.
